Cura

Cura is a unique gut-directed form of curcumin. We developed Cura especially for gut health, ensuring the active compound is released directly into the intestine and makes contact with the mucosa.

Curcumin is a compound extracted from the rhizome of turmeric reported to exert potent anti-inflammatory activities. It is therefore beneficial for those suffering from chronic inflammation as it both relieves current inflammation and prevents future inflammation.

The extracted compound has been reported to inhibit or suppress pro-inflammatory pathways and cytokines such as the NF-kB signaling pathway, interleukin-1, and tumor necrosis factor (TNFα), the main target of medications such as Remicade and Humira. Curcumin may also benefit those with impaired intestinal barrier function and ‘gut dysbiosis’, as it is reported to promote mucosal repair and have a positive regulatory effect on the composition of the microbiome.

Please note that some report mild headaches within the first few days of taking Cura. These are rare and normally pass on their own, but if headaches persist, please contact clinic@evinature.com and our GI experts will advise.

QD1

QD1 is a uniquely sourced formulation of Qing Dai, which is extracted from several Isatis indigo plants.

Qing Dai is reported in numerous clinical trials to be beneficial for chronic intestinal inflammation. Qing Dai has been known to quickly relieve chronic intestinal symptoms through the regulation or inhibition of pro-inflammatory pathways and cytokines such as the NF-κB pathway, TNF-α, IL-1, and IL-6, to name a few. Studies report that Qing Dai may also induce the production of interleukin 22, which promotes the regeneration of the mucosa. Qing Dai has also recently been associated with the activation of the AhR pathway, which decreases the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines and regulates long-term systemic inflammation.

We advise taking a liver blood test after 3-6 weeks of starting QD1, as it is infrequently associated with liver blood test abnormalities that resolved after the QD1 dose was reduced or discontinued. Please discontinue QD1 and alert your doctor if you experience any of the following: shortness of breath, chest pain, palpitation, severe abdominal pain, jaundice, or any unexplained symptoms.

For the best results, take your dose exactly as instructed in your tailored plan.  And feel free to reach out anytime with questions or concerns. We’d love to hear from you at info@evinature.com
