Your Guide to QD1Â
For the best results, take your recommended dose of QD1 consistently before meals.Â
QD1 is a uniquely sourced formulation of Qing Dai, which is extracted from several Isatis indigo plants.Â
Qing Dai is reported in numerous clinical trials to be beneficial for chronic intestinal inflammation. Qing Dai has been known to quickly relieve chronic intestinal symptoms through the regulation or inhibition of pro-inflammatory pathways and cytokines such as the NF-κB pathway, TNF-α, IL-1, and IL-6, to name a few. Studies report that Qing Dai may also induce the production of interleukin 22, which promotes the regeneration of the mucosa. Qing Dai has also recently been associated with the activation of the AhR pathway, which decreases the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines and regulates long-term systemic inflammation.Â
We advise taking a liver blood test after 3-6 weeks of starting QD1, as it is infrequently associated with liver blood test abnormalities that resolved after the QD1 dose was reduced or discontinued. Please discontinue QD1 and alert your doctor if you experience any of the following: shortness of breath, chest pain, palpitation, severe abdominal pain, jaundice, or any unexplained symptoms.Â
